The Beginning

It was just one afternoon when I was talking to two other friends who play Splinterlands when we thought of organizing a guild and asking others to tag along with us. It was then we thought, "Why don't we shell out our extra resources and help others? We gain profit, but at the same time help those who are in need of resources." And that became the start of it all.

What is it?

Mastermind Society was founded for the purpose of pursuing an advocacy of helping others in this pandemic. With the advent of the Play-to-Earn NFT games, the team of founders had decided to invest their resources into giving opportunities for those who are not privileged enough to play with their own resources.

In-line with this goal, the organization also aims to create a crypto-literate community through the sharing of news, articles, infographics, and other means to educate its members.

The organization’s main avenue in pursuing this advocacy is through the means of Scholarship in Splinterlands. This is done through the sharing of assets by providing accounts and DEC for them to use when they are renting.
The organization also welcomes collaboration with other streamers and influencers as long as there is the same goal of promoting the advocacy of helping others gain knowledge and as well as giving them help in overcoming financial difficulties especially during this pandemic.

Lastly, the goal of Mastermind Society is to become a community filled with members who are willing to shell out their experience, knowledge, wisdom, and maybe for some financial resources, in order to help our Fellow Filipinos who are having trouble coping up during this pandemic.

How are we doing so far?

As of the fourth day after launching the discord server, we now have 247 members in the community. We now have 14 scholars, most of them grinding around Silver to Gold Leagues.

Future Plans?

As of now, we are drafting a manual for easier consumption of our scholars. It will include the task organization, roles and responsibilities (because we give promotions to our scholars that come with more incentives in the expense of our profits), and a lot more.

We are also planning to connect more with our partners who are content creators so as we can support them as well in their own journeys of content creation.

In addition, once we start to get enough profits, we will engage in charity work that could help our fellow Filipinos in this pandemic.

It's amazing how a small conversation can spark a dream, a dream that could help others achieve their own dreams as well.
