Revolution of Online Dramas In Asia
People in Asia are more obsess about dramas and watching these series on daily basis, where they get emotionally touch with these actors and try to change their life style according to that as it can effect them sometime negatively and make problems in their personal life specially females as they are the main audience of these dramas. Internet is now giving them a chance to not miss a single episode and they can watch online dramas whenever they want they can.
They are just feeding the Indian masses specifically Indian housewifes. See it’s all about appealing the masses and they are doing just that by exploiting it. And it’s not gonna change anytime soon, good days are over when Indian content used to be very progressive & interesting, since then it’s constantly devolving on mainstream channels. Currently Indian soap operas are dominated by “Balaji TeleFilms” who make plain craps, partially because its hard to outperform them realizing their sheer size and being run by one of the famous Bollywood Family. Any Newbies in the field are easily slaughtered and kicked out of the scene reasons being very modern & progressive content, humorous which majority of Indians fail to understand or get offended very easily (Look at the AIB Roast and the amount of criticism it faced from people because Indian masses are not ready or mature enough for that kind of content).
With that said, there’s a niche market for New-age content which does exist. So better switch over to Indian Web-series, now it has crossed it’s initial stage and the contents are very polished and has gotten better over time.
