"...there's now federal US legislation proposed regarding operating systems & age verification."
Unconstitutional. The federal government has no authority to censor information, and preventing us from using our personal devices to communicate with one another is blatant censorship. The first, fourth, and tenth amendments are violated by that at least, and probably the fifth too.
I just won't use biometric ID. This data cannot be secured, and once your biometric data is hacked you are screwed for life. You can't change your biometric data, ever. India mandated biometric ID over a decade ago and today you can buy the biometric data of >1B Indians for $80k, last I heard. James Corbett published this report on the EU's age verification app currently being hawked, and it is deliberately borked, so hackable it took only two minutes to hack it.
Do not comply. It's a trap. Them pushing this want you to be hacked, your biometric data stolen, so they can then come in with an even more draconian privacy invading mechanism 'to protect you from hackers'.
Thanks!
This will become part of my video now, thank YOU.
Also, a huge fan of James for nearly a decade now. I was glad he got his channel back.
