Oh this is so funky and feisty! I love how you both rolled with the live performance and kept on rocking, that is really what making music is about. Keeping the groove going and going with the flow and then really how can you say it is a mess up? Wonderful post as well, loved reading the story of how you become friends. @jo-el you rock my friend, really awesome solo! Your bass influence definitely shows through and that is a good thing in my opinion, I love solos that work with interesting melodies and rhythmic variation instead of just trying the melt=-your-face-overwhelm-you-with-as-many-notes-as-possible approach :)
