Yep that is pretty much what i was thinking man!... This has grown too fast and too big!, i remember when i first joined just 2 months ago, there was not so much entries compared to now, i used to check them all easily...

Actually i got an idea that you could maybe use: Create a new tag, something like "openmic-contest" exclusive for the contest entries, and leave people use the usual openmic tag for older live performances and such... That way you guys can curate, judge and upvote the contest entries, and maybe once that is ready give some upvotes to old tag... That could help to purge the contest entries, and still include all people performances that are not exclusively for the contest...
I think this could work because the openmic tag have evolved into some kind of "trail" for musicians, everybody is using the tag, somehow the contest have brought us all together...
That was the original idea to bring us all together. I like your ideas. Let me talk it over with the new secret, soon to be revealed, judges.
Sounds very good... I have a lot of ideas :) .... And yes, seems like the goal of bringing musicians together is working very well... Cant wait to find out about the new secret judges hehe ;)
