What is up my peeps! its time again for another openmic post! this time with some big band jazz. Whiplash! hank levis arrangement for the movie released in 2014 directed by Damien Chazelle, i am personally not a big fan of the film but i gotta say that the score for the soundtrack its just amazing, honestly one of my all time favorites.

now, recording this theme in particular was a bit of a challenge, not every song written is in a 7/8 time signature and it has so many fills in between that makes playing by heart more dificult, but nevertheless, we survived, i hope you guys like this song as much as i do, its short but great.

so yeah, once again here it is! my entry for week 98 of the openmic contest, I want to SINCERELY APOLOGISE to the judges for not saying the name and week of the contest awsell as my username t the beggining of the video, i recorded it before playing but that video just fell of the planet, sorry for that!

Que hubo mi gente! es tiempo otra vez para un post del openmic! Esta vez con un poco de Jazz de Big Band. Whiplash! el arreglo de Hank Levi para la pelicula del 2014 dirigida por Damien Chazelle. Personalmente no soy muy fanatico de este film, pero tengo que decir que el score para el soundtrack es increible, honestamente, uno de mis favoritos.

Ahora, grabar este tema en particular fue algo complicado, no todas las canciones tienen una medida de compas de 7/8, ademas que tiene tantos fills en el medio que hace mas dificil tocarlo de memoria. sin embargo, sobrevivimos, espero les guste este tema tanto como me gusta a mi, es corto pero excelente.

y bueno, una vez mas aqui esta! my publicacion para la semana 98 del Openmic! quisiera pedir mis más SINCERAS DISCULPAS a los jueces por no decir el nombre y semana del concurso asi como mi usuario al principio del video, grabé eso antes de tocar pero ese video desapareció de la faz de la tierra, disculpas!
