Very nice! It really kept my attention the whole time. I really like seeing the lyrics too. If you want some constructive thoughts, maybe when you sing the murder chorus you make the piano a bit more active too to support what you're singing (or add more instruments)? Just an idea - it's really good as it is. ;)

Yes!!! I agree!!!! In fact...I just wrote this for entering into open mic 39. Concequently you are listening to the foundation of the song. No energy or time put into voicing yet. Also, I am terrible at playing and singing at the same time. I always have to dumb down my playing just to be able to do it at all. I have much less practice at singing and playing than just playing. Maybe Ill perform a Dubussy or Chopin piece on my Walter one day so that you can see that I can actually play the piano...not something so evident by watching this. This piece is all heart, mostly expressed through the vocals. It is at its birth stage. I intend to produce it in and play around with the genre a bit. I like to produce songs I write in several different genres just to see how the same tune can change. Thanks for taking a listen and super thanks for the great suggestions. This song does need better voicing and structure overall...especially around the chorus.
I would love to hear your classical playing! When I play and sing, I basically have to have one or both really memorized so I can do it in my sleep and then I have some mental energy left to focus on one of them ;)
