Fun fact: the record company created a 'clean' version of 'We're Only In It For The Money' (from whence this song comes), and one of the edits was to get rid of 'I still remember Mother with her apron and her pad, Feeding all the boys in Ed's cafe'.
Apparently whoever was responsible for this decided the 'pad' was a sanitary napkin...
I read about that somewhere. Don't they know how waitresses operate?
