Steemit Open Mic Week 82 - Original song "Practical Joke"

This is my entry for Steemit Open Mic Week 82.

A few weeks ago my little family of three became a family of four when we welcomed the arrival of our son Taeo.

Once again our world has temporarily been turned up-side down. Sleepless nights, lots of visitors, more loads of washing than you could ever imagine but all rewarded with watching this new young life develop before our eyes.

In light of the current state of our "normal", I thought I'd play a song I wrote a few years back about my feelings towards this crazy world we live in.

So infinitely messed up it must be part of some evil genius’ experiment
