Something I completely believe in and hope for and like me so many other music artist have dreamed about. That is Opus the first blockchain based music sharing platform. Based on the etheruem blockchain.

Watch the video of the team and the progress being made

Opus is a decentralized music-sharing platform that tackles the issue of music ownership and sharing at an infrastructure and protocol level. Leveraging the speed and redundancy of a novel Interplanetary FileSystem, IPFS, Opus can scale and deliver thousands of tracks per second in a fully decentralized manner.

How it Works

♬ Opus is in Beta, I am posting this because I believe In the opus team and I would like to say also again that I do believe in the product they have created and it has true potential to completely disrupt the music industry; Unlike most, they have a working beta, a great team, and a physical Office location.

Fully decentralized music streaming built using ISFP And Etheruem.

I thought Opus was an audio codec.

Interesting is it not? Opus is Music
a separate composition or set of compositions by a particular composer, usually ordered by date of publication.
or any artistic work, especially one on a large scale.

But yes that too. And NOW this! Im excited to say the least!

Opus is also, the open standard, high quality codec. Presentation, documentation, comparison with other formats, download links, source code repository.

Thanks for pointing me to this

your welcome thanks for stopping by

So it's kinda like steemit. I mean artists can put their work on opus and earn etheruem, right ?

Yes its kinda like steemit, and they would earn something like steem or OPT which is OPUS coin. That is what im understanding, anyone is free to correct me if Im wrong. Im excited to test it out for sure, first thing.

Wow, interesting!
