Attraction at first sight
The sun couldn't have shone brighter,
Secret smiles along the hallways
Led us to an alley.
We went down the road
And the joy we had was right on track,
We took the journey step by step
But our heartbeats raced faster.
Seasons come Seasons go
But spring alone we kept seeing,
Growing in this natural phenomenon
That was called love.
Bumps and potholes we jumped over
Got bigger and deeper,
Our blooming flower began to wither
And its pollen grains got wasted.
We tried to hold on
Yet a void was created,
How we ended in misery
Is a mystery that need not be solved.
