So that you have them, it is important to know what you should not do and what character traits you need to get rid of so as not to be left alone.
To your attention are three bad character traits that repel others from us.
1 Complacency
It is good to be a confident person, it is important to know all your strengths and use them. But a very negative effect on a person produces the complacency of his interlocutor. After all, no one is interested in listening to constant stories about great achievements and about a man who only does what he is trying to exalt himself.
If you notice something like this, you need to change it urgently. Let your loved ones talk more and more about your victories and achievements. Sometimes it’s very useful to “leave the day” for a while.
Stop thinking only about yourself, pay attention to loved ones. Help and take care of them, this is really important if you want to stay in good relations with them. And this does not mean that you need to stop thinking and taking care of yourself, you just need to at least not permanently shift the focus from yourself to people close to you.
- Selfishness
Now they say a lot about the importance of loving yourself. But often people perceive this as a call to be selfish and this is wrong. If you are able to selflessly help a person, show a sincere interest in your interlocutor and are ready to listen, then this will significantly increase your chances of finding a person close in spirit.
- The habit of complaining
No one is interested in listening to constant complaints and nagging. Just like the stories with your overwhelming success, so with nagging you need to finish. Difficult moments happen in the life of every person, but it is important to be able to filter them and present them correctly, without turning into complaints and nagging. Instead of constantly complaining, try to focus on finding a solution to the problem.
