There is an obscure network which is quietly evacuating people from Gaza, specifically Palestinians, but it is not operating through official measures. Evacuations are happening via under-the-radar flights, various NGOs, and military airports. All evacuations are occurring with significant costs, confidential personal information, and no explicit final destinations, leading to questions on whether this could be part of a strategy to slowly evacuate people from Gaza.
Examinations of multiple significant publications, including The New York Times, have shown concerning evidence. Families of Palestinians have been given evacuations, often communicated through private channels, and they involve payments made through encrypted digital means to pace this process. The group communicating the evacuation, Al-Majd Europe, asserts that it is a humanitarian organization, but an examination of their activity shows that there is no verifiable activities. Their offices do not exist, and the identities of its leaders appear to be constructed or made-up, and there is no ID of their services. Nevertheless, again, it is believed they are facilitating charter flights for Palestinians into Africa and Asia through indirect routs.
For example, the efficient evacuations exist at the Kerem Shalom crossing and lead through Israeli-controlled areas to Ramon Airport, which would traditionally be used for discrete military operations. Once at Ramon, passengers take flights to other countries wihtout any official exit stamps, or the slides of documentation. Certain flights have even arrived in European cities, such as Budapest and Bucharest, prompting additional worry. This enigma has led many to think these evacuations may actually be indicative of a more politically motivated attempt to reduced the Palestinian population in Gaza.
