After some thinking, the only way I can imagine this user must have gotten into the whitelist and then again into the whitelist as we removed him once (me having the account on mute must be due to it), is because the curated authors were once added in batch onto the whitelist manually and multiple accounts had typos which lead to certain users finding these typo'd accounts, creating accounts based on their typo'd username and using ocdb. These were removed after we first noticed it but a recent bug that erased the whitelist must have gotten some back in after it was reinstated.
Since the case is this and the content above is plagiarised, ocdb will unvote the account and not return the bid. Thanks to the people reporting the matter in a civil manner to me.
