I did enjoy steem, it was the first social site that caught and held my attention for more than a week in 15 plus years. I learned a lot about social media, I learned a lot about crypto, I learned how much of a pain in the ass rich spoiled boys with old toys can be when they want a new toy.
I miss steem and some of the people there, most have moved over, a few still hold out for the steem dream. For me I still have 3 more weeks, with his HF, I decided a full power down was in order, I just do not see a path forward for steem as a stand alone social media site.
I met a lot of people from all corners of the globe through all walks of life, and most of them treated me to their backyards and their homeland through photo's stories and videos. I am glad we still have that on Hive, but steem was the first place to catch my attention in a very long time, so it will be missed.
I hope everyone had a very nice weekend and were able to avoid any of the strife and unrest that seems to be everywhere these days.
@bashadow I completely understand and agree. I did learn a lot from my days over there and I appreciate them. I also met some amazing people and my eyes were opened as to what is possible.
I have no idea what the future holds, but I'm grateful to have experienced the past!
