I just want to give everyone a quick update, Steem Engine had their hardfork and we updated PAL to 3 decimal places of precision shortly after. We expected some visual discrepancies on payouts initially, but expected them to correct within a few minutes to reflect accurately. It's beginning to look like they may be accurate and the rewards pool may have been reset.
I'm waiting to hear from the developers to get firm answers, but I just wanted to let everyone know that we are aware of it and hopefully avoid some of the hysteria that often follows something like this. If this is what happened, then payouts will adjust themselves heavily over the next week and eventually balance out, much like they did the first week. There was a similar issue on STEEM after changing decimal precision in the past and it's likely that's what is going on, but again we're still waiting for confirmation.
Hang in there and please have patience through this hiccup, fixing decimal precision is important to all of us and we'll get things sorted out as soon as possible.
