INTRODUCTION
Hello gamers, this is @taintedblood, I made this account to mostly post about game ideas I have, and any work done on them. I have plans for a crypto based game or two.
Clouded Mercy Productions is the current name idea for my game dev operations.
What I have
I currently own licenses for RPG Maker XP, and RPG Maker VX Ace. I know the RPG Maker franchise gets a lot of hate from shovelware/shitware being made for a quick buck with them. My plan with them is to create horror games, primarily psychological horror, or horror similar to Ib, Mad Father, and Witch's House.
I also plan on using Godot for side-scrollers, and top down games. Potentially might use Monogame, the successor to XNA Framwork for a game or two.
Art software is Krita, and Paint.net, I'm hoping to eventually get a hold of Aseprite.
I'm not good with audio mixing, but, I have Tracktion 7, and LMMS.
Game Ideas
Phobia Ruin: Play as six friends as each of them fight their personal fears. The game will focus on environmental, and psychological horror. The player will be tasked to explore, and overcome each characters fears.
Unending Love: One day an explorer comes across an unusual zombie. This story is based on the song "If I Were A Zombie", has multiple endings. The name is a placeholder for now.
Space Lords: Side-scrolling sandbox RPG, will have multiple playable races, planned to have the ability to customize your class, limited skill points, and leveling gear. This name is a placeholder
Etc
May not seem like much thought for them so far, but, I have info on Space Lords and Unending Love that I can share at a later date. I'm also talking with a few friends to flesh out the story for Phobia Ruin.
