Here you can see a wonderful work of art by the painter Heinrich Bürkel (1802 - 1869) who had first taken a different path and did a commercial education before he recognized his true passion and interrupted it for art. He went to Munich to attend an art academy there and was particularly interested in depicting landscapes and he was particularly strongly inspired by painters of the Dutch school and he turned away from the ideology of the academy and decided to do his own thing and work freely and left it to teach himself a lot about art. He took some well-known works by Dutch painters as a model and began to paint them and a few years later he was able to visit his first exhibition and was particularly fascinated by Italy, which also gave him many insights into a culture and ensured that numerous new influences flowed into his art. He liked to look for new sources of inspiration and moved around a lot in artistic circles and over the years he developed more and more his own style and is becoming more and more known as an artist and especially his late works have already gained great international attention. At the beginning he exhibited his works mainly in Germany and later he visited some well-known exhibitions in other countries and he was considered one of the best-known represented of the Biedermeier era and especially he was inspired by landscapes related to mountain areas. He also maintained a good relationship with other well-known artists of his time such as the well-known painter Carl Spitzweg (1808 - 1885) and the most important successes in his life were visiting international exhibitions and his art portfolio includes thousands of paintings and drawings.
