On top of using Cudo Miner to passively mine on my desktop PC when not in use, I have recently started testing the CryptoTab browser on the same PC. Built on top of Google Chrome, the UI is very familiar & feels almost indistinguishable from its parent browser. You don’t have to create an account as you can just sign in using Google, Twitter, or Facebook. Once you have signed in, drag the slider to how fast you want to mine, set it, & forget it. The surprising aspect was the fact that in just 2-1/2 days I’ve earned $.92 worth of BTC. Nothing life changing but much more than expected from any simple miner. I should note that this was achieved by leaving the browser open when not in use (something I’ve always done anyway). The really great thing about CryptoTab is withdraw with no holds or limits.
On top of the Desktop browser there is also an iOS app, a Google Play app, & even a ‘CryptoTab Start’ Google Chrome extension. The more of these you use the faster you earn.
All In all, CryptoTab is a good way to earn Bitcoin while on the Internet. I find it very easy to forget I’m not using Chrome. Then, on the occasion I do glance at the earnings I am pleasantly surprised with the amount.
