Yes. The colors are very bright with oil pastels, and they're easy to draw with. One tricky thing I like to do with them is make a drawing on paper, then do a wash, or even spot colors, with watercolors over the drawing. The areas of the paper covered by the oil pastels won't take the watercolor paint, but the areas left untouched will. It creates some cool color contrasts and odd, unpredictable texture effects, sometimes---especially if you blot dry the watercolor areas with paper towels... Fun stuff to experiment with!
