Nicolas Pepe pulls out of international duty

in #palnet5 years ago

The 24-year-old got a national team call-up. However, he will not play for the elephants in the upcoming friendlies vs Benin and Tunisia. According to the official information of the Ivory Coast Football Federation, he arrived at the training camp in France with an injury and Nicolas Pepe will miss those games. The Gunner has already left the camp and will return to London Colney. The source doesn't specify the extent of the injury or how long it will take to recover.
But according to Sky Sports, Nicolas Pepe's withdrawal is just a precaution. Both Arsenal and Ivory Coast agreed it would be better for the attacker to take some additional rest and not feature in the upcoming games.

I think it was a good decision for him in other for him to concentrate more on his new club asernal and also to work harder o improve his game

If you think so, it good for you becuase its a free world

It is good to hear that and it will help the new gunners man

You are right but i dont agree with that because you need to put your country ahead of club and i believe its an opportunity for him to be call up into the country squad where some other players are out there waiting for that chance and they never have it and that is the main reason i dont support him missing the international duty
