US cases: At least 108, according to the CDC.
US deaths: At least 9, according to the CDC and state health officials.
BUT decent numbers are hard to get, because 24 died in 3 retirement homes in DC, and they aren't in here.
The fact is that the deaths seem to be from pneumonia, and Not the Chronavirus (secondary causes). This is aggravated by poor health, so guessing fatalities are difficult, because of the contributing factors. Was it Chronavirus, or poor health?

Yes of course it's the secondary illnesses that do the killing, primarily pneumonia in these cases. I read that the flu has already killed 18,000 this year but they're projecting around 500,000 for the coronavirus, the CDC is although they haven't exactly broadcasted that.

Not disagreeing with him, just saying that the numbers are too fluid right now for solid analysis. With all the inflated news numbers, just about any fatality rate can be supported. We, just do not know!
We do know that healthy people usually get a mild case. We know that the virus is a gateway infection that weakens the victim until something else moves in. We know that older people are at a much greater risk due to pre existing conditions. This Virus was developed, AS a Weapon, by the Chinese, and no one seems to be angry over that!
We (because of this complex feeder population) need a much larger population before we will be able to extract an accurate mortality rate. It will end up similar to every other flu, percentage wise. They seem to have increased the incubation time, to make it spread further, but the base virus is no anthrax....
