Trying out a new spot has its dangers
In this little flying adventure we launch from the edge of our property and find our selves on a mini XC.
It all started as a attempt to launch from the original great hangliding spot here in San Diego known as Big Black. But the gate was closed and that hike is too far if you haven't been training.
We settled for launching from this very small unknown location on the edge of my back yard. Its usually marked with crows and hawks circling in the air marking the thermals for us. Today was no different. A handful of local pilot set off to see what we could make of this questionable day. You will need to watch the video to see how it turned out. Enjoy
