How to get up and out paragliding at Little Black in San Diego
Sometimes the flight is just a few minutes to the bottom. Sometimes you end up going to cloud base.
In this short video, After work, Tony, Connor, Phil, Adam and I went to Little Black on a post frontal day. At one point there was a thermal that was taking me up about 700 ft per minute. Thermals were strong. I went out too far and almost didn't make it back to the LZ.
Its always fun to see how far you can fly. I was actually ok with landing a bit early because I had an appointment that I needed to get to. The wifes car broke down and I needed to pick it up from the shop. Thats a whole different post.
