The air had a lot of energy in it.
We were standing on launch at 10am watching for signs of lift.
All the weather reports gave the impression that this day was going to offer some great adventure opportunity. After a few minutes of hiking and a couple minutes waiting for birds or signs of thermals, we launched into the air from the 800 launch at Little Black.
I had no idea that thermals would be popping this early in the morning.
We hit the send button and flew right to cloud base. When it was done the flight was about 35km. I was just short of goal. It was such a fun day of flying here in San Diego. Enjoy
