Months ago, some of the guys that watch the show asked me to come to the fly in because of the distance from my house.
Its only really about 2 hours away. But the only reason why I was thinking I don't really want to go is because I don't have my own motor.
A paramotor cost about $6000 on average brand new. A new wing can cost about $3000. Its hard to justify spending that kind of money when you are living on a budget and when you are a free flight pilot with mountains in the back yard.
Nevertheless a couple of the guys that are moderators for the show, told me that they would let me fly their gear. So we packed up the jeep and headed to the Salton Sea. Set up camp and watched the show. Enjoy this video.
