Hiya! My question is a bit broad, inherently several questions.
"IF" (First question) it's true that some (not all) of the phenomena we perceive as ghosts are actually more accurately described as echoes or impressions left behind, then what is the medium they are imprinted upon? Sound is vibration waves on air, which loses energy and fades away. What are these ghosts echoing on, and do they fade?
Thinking deep. I love these questions!
