hello friends, In my previous post have shared the venue n decoration of my party, in this post i would like to share some pictures of my punjabi theme party, a party where all the food, decoration, music, dress are made according to sikh religion like Punjabi do. It was fantastic event organised by me n my sister in law. So what does punjabi theme means vibrant color, dress up like sikh khudi( punjabi girl).

In the party every ladies wore punjabi suit i.e kurta(top) , salwar(bottom) n dupptta(piece of extra cloth) . In hair everyone wore parada is part of punjabi ethnic wear made up of silk thread with some tassels womens ties parada in their hair with braid.Even im ears wearing jhumkas or heavy danglings n mang tikka(ornament wore in forehead).

There was around 50 ladies, everyone looking elegant n beautiful in punjabi attire. Womens enjoyed alot with dhol(high music) danced, done photoshoot.

Even there was many surprised games in which women have to play n won prizes.

Even my memory got full having so much of photos of party... some of them are here

There was many props like hand made frames, matka(earthen pot), goggles, kites, turbans, and many more to get clicked with it, even created selfie point like decorated bicycle and cot(charpaai) which is very common of you visit to punjab.

Hope you all like our way of celebration, let me know in the comment session how was it.

Really love the dresses and the colors. Very nice pictures. Specially like the ones with the cycle. Worked with textiles in India for almost 15 years too. Really love ethnic Indian suits, dresses etc. I'm actually originally punjabi but a part of my family is from Bikaner.
