I really like the idea behind the PIFC. It is a lot of fun to go out and look for people to introduce to this great group. @sadiajahan22, @bmotives, @el-nailul, @rajat1802, @shaheerbari, @stephanieo, @VeteranforCrypto, @herryazmi11 are the people I have featured in my entries and I hope a few of them stop by to tell us how it went for them.
I know one thing that is hard for me is keeping up with the voting. I can't split my vote so just keeping up with the groups I am in and then trying to vote for mine people and the contest page my vote gets drained really fast before I can even really go and look at all the great stuff people add. This is just a fact for those of us at lower sp numbers. I am not sure of a way to fix this but I really do want to try to start voting for more people we feature.
I would also like to see the names of the people we have featured to avoid doing them again unless we want to allow that if they are still low and making good content.
One thing I might like to see us do more of is try to get the people we add into the discord group. I know a lot join but I really feel that is what makes this special in the long run. Is getting a good group that will follow you.
I was also featured once for a ulog I did about going to the zoo. It was very nice to be added along with the fun I had talking to new people it was at the time a high payout for me. And was one of reason I pulled the trigger on buying some steem and starting to be more active with the pay it forward discord and contest.
Voting power is an issue no matter what. The more SP you have the higher the vote you want to give out and more people you want to help...well at least for those of us that are Pay It Forward Minded. So I'm sure I could lease you 10k SP and you would still run low...just like I would....but it would be a fun problem to have!
Love to hear that you purchased Steem and became more active due to the contest. That is a HUGE testimonial! Thank you for sharing.
first of all , i would like to thank you personally for featuring me on this contest. It is a great thing for me, and honestly I have received tremendous amount of support since then. I will submit my own this week 20, as a way to thank to all of support I have had @stever82
I feel your pain regarding voting power @stever82, and if you don't have the "magic slider", it's even worse! Whenever my voting power is low, I continue to comment, often apologizing for not being able to upvote, and never has anyone made me feel badly about that! In fact, it's just the opposite and people tell me that a well thought out comment is worth more to them than any upvote.
So, my advice, keep commenting and upvote only when you can :)
thanks that is good advice.
You're welcome @stever82 😅
