First... I am glad to see that I am NOT the only one who does the head nod lol...
Now that we have that out of the way...
When I first started here, I was thinking like many others perhaps... possible income. @bearone shared the link... I joined the @steemusa Discord Group... and I was hooked. I ran into @josephsavage from the @steembasicincome group... saw the positive influence and love being shown, and decided to become a writer for the SBI group. Then... I met @xcountytravelers, and in turn, learned about the @steemterminal. Wow... jumped across the creek rather quickly...yes? Then... I met @brittandjosie, @thekittygirl, @jamerussell, @derekrichardson... they were helping people! New Steemians, like myself... Well yes, I joined in June of 2017, but MS made me take a backseat for a while. But these people were helping people! You...and me! Then, I met @wolfhart... you know his journey... and yep... he is helping people!! I won't go on and on (Britt will call it a blog haha :), but what was said in the beginning here is correct:
What I do want to do is say thank you to those who continue to take time out of their lives each week to hunt down quality posts who deserve a little extra attention. Seen it called dumpster diving by one entrant recently as there is so many shit posts out there and honestly this is exactly why the good ones need more attention. When we help reward the better posts hopefully it will encourage those people to keep posting quality content.
Like the sister community to the @steemterminal...@heyhaveyamet, why not be part of something? Part of something positive... bigger than all of us... a way to show people what can really take place here... helping each other, to provide positive engagement, meaningful posts... who knows what might happen?
Happy 1st Birthday @pifc... glad to be a part of your awesome community...
