RE: Closed: 100% upvotes for your opinions about @pifc's Curation Contest!

What PIFC is doing right:
Encouraging people to visit, vote, and comment on featured posts, encouraging those who were featured to find and feature others both organically (because they are appreciative) and through incentives.

What I might change:
I didn't find this contest until I was featured. I don't know how you might change this, but maybe if contestants also used the tags where their quality content was found (art, philosophy, life?) it could help newbies engaging with the platform to find you.

My POV:
For contest, I have entered the contest only once. I was also featured once, and that's what encouraged me to do it. A great experience on both sides.

Thanks for your thoughts. Sadly there really isn't much of a way to add exposure without attempting to reach the trending page which is a massive investment and then honestly I don't even think you gain much exposure.

If everyone was to resteem the contest page each week then maybe we would gain more free exposure, which is the only type we can afford...lol.

You were late by a bit for the test, but you gave good thoughts so getting the 100% vote all the same.

Thanks! And yeah also widespread exposure probably does not bring the right people.

In looking for a valid criticism, that's the best I could come up with. You've got a great project here!
