Love that this is doing so well for a new contest. Really wasn't sure what to expect but it's great seeing everyone take the time to feature other steemians and try and help them gain some rewards. This platform needs more of this and less of the other nonsense that seems to take center stage each day here.
Agreed. There's a lot of mudslinging going on, centred around what is fair distribution of rewards. So it's important to re-focus on what the platform is about, rewarding and retaining users who post valued content.
The reward pool is a serious issue and it needs to be dealt with, but sadly to often it degrades into childish antics.
I think that if more people can get focused on growing the platform some of the other issues will sort themselves out as we move forward. The topics need to be talked about, but maybe the tone of the conversations needs to be dialed down a few levels.
