Paypal released a terms of service update that said they can fine you $2,500 for "spreading misinformation"
so, at their discretion they could just take your money if you had wrongthink
a few days later they partially reversed the policy
they can still steal your money at will, but now they will only fine you $2,500 for "hate" or "intolerance"
which are just as open to interpretation really

They also said the policy was released in error which just just laughable
yeah uhh a bunch of laywers wrote this policy, multiple people reviewed it and signed off on it then published it and notified all their users
simple clerical error! Happens all the time!
anyway they over-estimated how much people need them
if Chase bank or someone did this it would be harder to switch over
Paypal is optional for 99% of people so people have just been dropping them
it's been really entertaining to watch, they started offering $15 not to cancel
I would short their stock personally
