I have no idea whatsoever where the time goes. I feel the same about my phone -keep saying it's new, then I remember it's 3 years old by now. Smart play to purchase it now, we did the same, figured a bit of extra cash could go into tech upgrades considering the insane rate at which everything else is getting pricier. Hope she has years of good fun ahead ;)

Inflation is indeed awful! One of the components in this new computer, I paid $399 for, and already (mainly due to AI companies buying up all the RAM supply) the component is listed for $549.
