If you are like me, the motivation and feeling "I do this now so that after I can do what I want" are in your mind 24 hours a day; 7 days a week. Being motivated makes us feel good, motivation even makes us feel special. But motivation can sometimes be a double-edged blade, it can lead us to do unbelievable things, reveal our true potential or, if we lack motivation, make us fall and make it impossible to keep moving forward to achieve our goals .
The athletes, artists or businessmen you all admire share a common thread: their passion and their motivation for their careers. These traits reflect the success and fame they have acquired. But the secret of this apparently inexhaustible source of mental determination is probably what we admire the most.
These artists, entrepreneurs and athletes can teach you a few secrets about motivation that you may not have yet achieved.
The secrets of motivation:
Motivation is not inexhaustible, it must always and always find.
This can be a surprise to some, but the truth is that we are never hundred percent motivated, all the time. Coping with everyday life and struggles to achieve your goal is not easy. In fact, what makes it a laudable goal is the degree of difficulty it takes to achieve it.
Everyone doubts, and more importantly, everybody lacks motivation at one time or another. But what separates those who achieve their goals from those who give up is that those who achieve their goals look for new sources of motivation day after day.
The energy needed to continue can take the form of a film, an excellent article or even a song. What inspires you is yours. Always remember your goals and constantly look for new sources of inspiration.
There are two main types of motivations: internal and external
Motivation is able to get you out of your bed and give you the energy needed to achieve what you want. However, only one type of motivation will always be in one corner of your mind to get you out of the times when you doubt you: internal motivation. We often deal with internal and external motivation every day of our lives, but when it comes to achieving the goals we set for ourselves, only internal motivation can help us.
External motivation occurs in short ephemeral stubs. A situation, a person will give us the impetus to do things but for a short time. Internal motivation on the other hand, can help us change our mentality, our way of thinking. The external motivation comes, generally, from a need to impress those around you. External motivation comes with a need to prove something to someone. When you feel motivated by external factors, you might think things like: "By doing all of this, they will be able to admire me / respect me".
On the other hand, internal motivation, is a deep unity that is rooted to your desires and your needs to achieve something. Internal motivation is this thing that tells you "I do all this because I know that one day I will be proud of what I have accomplished".
If external motivation is quick to disappear in the short or medium term, it is because "reason" to start something is never strong enough to support the whole process. On the other hand, the internal motivation will always be present, with you. In its own way, internal motivation is linked to an important human quest, the pursuit of happiness.
