Since I started exploring about Hive, I don't see the rational of people posting their content on other social media platform. In today's world, content is so valuable, content is gold.. Social media platform like IG, FB, YouTube, Tiktok.. They profit from the contents by users.
Its user's content, should be the users profit most.
I'd like to add on a few points here: Platforms like FB/IG/Tiktok and other similar ones will take user data, run analytics over them, and also target and push targeted advertisement on individuals. Even google is tracking every persons move. Here's an article by Forbes:

which is scary enough!
On platforms like these, since they are open source, other developers and community members can see whats really going on, which makes them better from many angles.
Also another point: FB/Tiktok/Insta can control if they want to delete your posts! Here, no one can delete your posts :)
The main idea of posting things to those platforms, at least to me, is that when I do I talk about hive and try to get people to sign up here where they have a lot more freedom and power to do and say what they want. It’s a bit of our own internal marketing when we as hive users go out there and try to get more people to join the platform here.
Some others though use it to just get exposure and try to make money. I can’t blame them but those platforms can censor you in a second and then you are screwed.
