We often talk about the painful part of having to rebuild our lives from scratch, but we rarely talk about the courage it takes to actually do so — The sheer uncertainty, the confidence that feels as shaky as the wind, the mental effort it takes to plan ahead, and the silent prayers we say beneath our breath, hoping that everything works out. This, in every sense, has been my story so far.
In 2022, I got swamped with school work, so much that I couldn't keep up with posting on hive. This continued into 2023. That was when I finally lost it all; my joy for life, my passion, and my hive keys. Living in a developing country(where the educational system feels both complicated and dreadful) made things worse. Combined with the reality that I was grieving a loss, everything seemed to work together to steal the light in my soul. In no time, I found myself isolating from friends, family, social media, and every kind of fun that required me to interact with the outside world.

Then, I had to move cities, and in the process, I lost my physical diary where my hive keys were stored. Shortly after, my primary device which housed my first ever email containing those same keys got damaged. Till this day, I still haven't found a repair solution for it. Between these years, though, I nursed the idea of returning to hive to create content multiple times but I kept stalling because I had become rusty at everything I once knew how to do(Including writing).
I kept asking myself:
"Where do I start from?"
"How do I get my active followers back?"
"Will my name ring a bell?"
"What if grief comes knocking again and I isolate once more?"
"Who would even support a new account like mine?"
The uncertainty behind these questions limited me for THREE WHOLE YEARS. Now, It's 2025 and I still regret not starting over sooner. I still beat myself up for not adding a recovery email to the one containing my hive keys. And sometimes, I still feel that sting of sadness when I realize that everyone I started with has improved their skills and built a higher reputation here while I was struggling to survive health college and make it out with good grades.

Thankfully, I made it out in one piece!
Now, I'm ready for balance, because truly, what can stop a girl like me who currently has positive answers to all those limiting questions she always asked herself about starting over? What can stop the motion? Absolutely nothing!
That's why this post exists and I am so glad! Today, I've found the courage to start all over, but with clarity and intentionality. I have made a commitment to myself, created a schedule to stay consistent with posting quality content, and I know it will not fail. So, if you've ever been afraid of starting over again, regardless of the venture, I hope that my story and this bold step I have taken this new month gives you the courage to pick yourself up.
Now, to the introduction.
For those who may not know me or those who have been here since I first joined hive, consider this a warm Hello!🥰🥰🥰

My name is Yechee(formerly @faith65) I'm passionate about Women's rights and inclusitivy. I love to read, write and contribute meaningfully to valuable discussions. I wear my heart on my sleeve and quite frankly, I'm a master of many things. I love listening to podcasts, discovering new music and taking beautiful pictures of random objects and nature. On weekends, you'll probably find me reviewing a movie I enjoyed or creating art(from mini paper paintings to digital illustrations on Canva).
I'm currently on a journey to becoming a freelance project manager and an automation specialist, and I can't wait to share my learning process with you all.
Surely, I can't end this without saying I'll appreciate every form of support and encouragement on this post and my new account. I'll be tagging a few friends/followers from my old account so they can find me again(If this is not an action you appreciate, please let me know and I'll be respectful enough to untag you).
If you do find my introductory post pleasing enough and you'd like to keep up with my content, please leave a comment and I'll connect with you. Thanks!

Special thanks to this talented artist @leeendah for delegating some HP to help get me started with this account. I'm super grateful to you and can't wait to start exploring the hive ecosystem again!

Welcome back Yechee, I don't know you in the past thou, because I just started hive few months back, and my name is @joeboi24. Well your story is touching and I must confess from my observation you have a soft heart , a very soft heart, loss of a love one can be so painful than even relationship heartbreak, i had same experience when I lost my Grandma and aunty within interval of 6months, God to sleep well was a problem, two persons who loved me unconditionally just left the world...friends were telling me at least they aged very well especially my grandmother, I told them age is not the problem, it was the relationship and love they showered on me...
Yechee don't be annoyed if I may ask who you lost???
Focus on your present ok, I understand
Death is something inevitable no one will escape it, but all our prayers is longer life, very long life..
Thanks Yachee, cry no more ok
You are beautiful too🧡❤️🧡❤️
Thank you very much, joeboi. I appreciate the time you spent on making this comment with comforting words while sharing your own experience. Happy to also know you've settled with death being an inevitably painful experience. Hugs to you.
Just going to point out that if you ever have the chance, you should study how to improve your comments. Both grammar and punctuation. You can use Google for a start. Seaech how to write better in general. That way, your hive experience is improved and accounts may find your lovely comments valuable enough to support. Cheers!😊
PS: I'll find time to search for a resource to help get better with writing and I'll link it here.
I can write well sister.
Thanks for the signs you said I should apply
What a wonderful surprise! I haven't been posting simply because I got caught up in life. I am glad to hear that you're back and I trust you will quickly regain lost ground on this new account. I'm sorry that you went through all if that, but I'm proud of you for what you've done!
Oh, dear! Life can get torrid sometimes, but I'm glad that we always find strength to pick up pieces of ourselves and keep things moving. Thank you so much for your kind words and for acknowledging the tag. I have no doubts that I will regain all that has been lost.
PS: Can't wait to read your next post whenever you find time to write something.🥰
Welcome back again. It's nice you found your way back and that's really nice.. hope to see more of you.

Thank you so much! I'm equally glad, especially since I didn't expect this much support.
Welcome back Dear🎉, it's never late to start over again.
I would suggest you download Google Keep Note and List, it's an app to save important details , passwords and keys, you can always back up information with your mail, I highly recommend.
Thank you so much for the warm welcome and the advice. I'll make sure to keep the details both offline and online as I did before. But this time, multiple reproductions. Can't wait to read from your blog too. Have a lovely day!🥰
You're welcome on hive once again. Just like you said, a lot has changed but the rules remain the same, so you'll catch up real fast.
Definitely! Thank you so much, Dwixer! I appreciate all your help.
