I think our personal life situation and experiences play a big role in determining our values, and it might be our different values that separate us from one another.
EXAMPLE:
People can be part of the same group, church or religion but for different reasons based on different values.

Yep. I have made videos before that talk about us wearing different masks and developing different characters. I believe it is the same thing. Where we are standing is often pretty close to the people that helped develop that chatacter...
I haven't thought about our character being like a mask. It sounds like you think our character is not our true self @freedompoint.

I finally watched it @freedompoint and I will take it one step further.
I believe the thing you call "I" is also a mask, and that beneath your personhood, you are without form - formless.
The best way to describe yourself and myself is "not this and not that" not anything that can be named, thought, imagined or experienced.
