Tuna Sisig for Terry! Recipe

This tuna sisig version is not from the can but from grilled fresh tuna or frozen tuna steak. You can easily stock it in your freezer, for quick cooking. Just thaw it when about to use, specialy on a busy workweek. It will only take about 30 to 45 minutes cooking time.

Mga Sangkap:

Grilled tuna/Ocean Fresh Tuna Steak**
1 small Bell Pepper, chopped
5 cloves Garlic, minced
2 large Onions, chopped
Black Pepper Powder
White Pepper Powder
Lime Juice or Calamansi
2 to 3 tsp Knorr Seasoning
Salt to taste
2-3 tbsp Mayonnaise
Vegetable oil – 2 tbsp
Sili or Siling haba (optional)

**Ocean Fresh Tuna Steak are frozen tuna slices available in groceries in Freezer section

Paraan ng Pagluluto:

Ihanda ang Tuna at timplahan ng konting asin at paminta. Pagkatpos ay ihawin o i-prito muna ito. Kapag luto na isantabi para lumamig ng bahagya.

Hiwain at tadtarin ito ng maliliit or himayin kung nais. Isantabi muna.

Sa isang kawali ay mag-gisa ng kalahati ng hiniwang sibuyas at bawang hanggang bumango at maluto ang sibuyas. Katamtamang apoy lamang. Ilagay ang bell pepper, haluin at lutuin sa loob ng 1 minuto.

Makaraan ay idagdag naman ang tuna at haluin muli. Makaraan ng 1 minuto ay timplahan ito ng asin, knorr seasoning, lime juice o calamansi at paminta. Haluing mabuti hanggang manuyo nuyo. Hanguin po ito.

Isalin sa isang malaking mangkok. At saka naman ihalo ang natitirang kalahati ng tinadtad na sibuyas at lagyan ng mayonnaise. Timplahan ng naaayon sa inyong panlasa. Kung nais ng maanghang, maari din ihalo ang hiniwa hiwang mga sili.

Maaarin pong isilbi sa isang sizzling hot plate na may butter at itlog. Enjoy!
