There's a lot to celebrate! Right? An event to acknowledge the foundation of the city, one of the biggest festival in General Santos City is celebrated this month February 27, 2018 . The KALILANGAN FESTIVAL a social gathering not just the people in town but welcoming the visitors imparting the city's rich culture and heritage. A season of merrymaking sharing of presents, traditional sports, street dancing competition, singing, modern dance contest, entertainment, and other competitions served for the local community. It is an honor to be a part of it! so choose Philippines!
Experiencing the famous festival in town, way back in 2015, was one of my greatest achievement! I was invited to join a contest sponsored by Coca-cola the most popular and biggest selling brand of softdrinks in history. Each participants was given the time to create originally made festival costumes that is made of Coca-cola plastics, logos and bottle caps.
What an amazing night it was! I wasn't able to win but my feeling that night, I'm more than a winner!
