After 2-3 years, we finally got the chance to meet again. It was a night full of laughter and lots of catching up.

We decided to chill at Valenns Sugba House. They have one of the best barbecues in town which is perfect with beer. The ambience of the place, mellow music playing while having a good conversation with friends is definitely a great way to take a break.

They are open from 10AM to 10PM, Monday to Sunday, except on Tuesdays where they only serve barbecue and drinks from 5PM to 10PM. They also have acoustic night every Saturday.

We really enjoyed the night. We had so much of catching up and too many stories to tell. Ate Avon, Ate Rachelle and Ate Claire are my former workmates.

Its been a long time since I went out with friends. I have strictly been staying at home when I wasn't at work since the start of the pandemic. And it feels good to be out there again. Its still scary, but I think we have to live with that fear, and start lifting everything to God.

We can't be scared and worried all the time. Its exhausting and affecting everyone's mental state already.

Let us all pray that everything will be over, and we can freely see each other again without having to worry about contact tracing and being quarantined. Haha.

On a serious note, let us not be complacent. We are still in a pandemic, so please be responsible and do your part. Stay safe everyone. 🤍
