Yesterday we celebrated the 6th-month birthdate of our daughter and Hive has been one of the major lifesavers that we had in that way we can pay off our bills in the hospital without any hassle. You can read the story here

The transition from fatherhood isn't that easy especially but it is definitely worth it. I am learning more about the process especially the part of patience as I am not patient at times and always express grumpiness.

But I know this is not my story so here are some of the milestones that she had accomplished.

Eating Solid Foods.

We first started feeding her some boiled potatoes and other soft vegetables in her 5th month. April makes sure that the veggies given are soft and can be chewed without any issues.

Some fruits are given on the side but only soft fruits such as bananas.

So far, she isn't a picky eater and whatever we give to her she immediately grabs and eats. Not sure if all babies are like that but I just hope that she will not be a picky one once she grows old.

Crawling and Roll Over Issues.

Our place isn't that big right now and this is the reason why we decided to move out. When it comes to crawling most of the time she crawls in the bed and she is fast! We are being watchful of her movement as there are instances where she nearly falls in bed because of her actions.

Usually, it happens during night time where April is sleeping and I am focused on my work and I am not facing them.

Once we moved out hopefully before the year ends, either we will be selling the bedframe so that we can save an extra space or we will be buying a rail guard in our bed. We cannot decide which is which right now as our space is not that big.

The place where we eat, place of work, and sleeping is the same. So you can just imagine this small space right now.

April and I are talking about how it is a big place for us before when we are just two in the house but after Dyn-Dyn came into our household the house become small as she have strollers and cribs that should be set up and take spaces.

Verbal Cues and Words

She is cooing most of the time and babbling some words. Still, we cannot understand that but there was a video captured by my wife where she said the word "mama". I heard that too but still, that doesn't count, as she is just babbling words

Teething and Sickness

A few days ago we noticed that there's already swelling on her gums and we can feel something. We bought xylogel as advised by our old folks to relieve the pain in teething. She is not sickly, but right now because of teething and a change of formula milk she is experiencing some diarrhea which is normal.

Overall Dyn-dyn is growing well and fast. My wife and I are joking that now that she is already in her 6th month she is now regularized and she will be rewarded with benefits etc just like an employee.

At times, she checks on my emails at work as if she knows what I am doing.

Plans on Having Another One?

Not this time, we are enjoying our precious time with our daughter, and having another one can limit that. Also since April underwent C-section she was advised not to have a child in the meantime as her wounds are not yet fully healed. Aside from the physical and mental preparation, we are not financially ready to raise another one. Having a baby is costly, though we enjoy being a parent. The stress and frustration come when we are not able to buy stuff that we need.

*(Should i do a Le Onion post?)

yung cake kami ang kumain nyan. Haha nagbigay kami sa kapitbahay we still have more than half of it since di naman kami mahilig sa sweets talaga. For the sake ng picture taking lang at may maipost sa hive haha.

Yeah why not

Kala ko paano na regular si Baby. Hahaha. Pero di mo pa kasi tanggapin na 'mama' yon. Happy 6 months baby Dyn.

Hahahahaha

Pero di mo pa kasi tanggapin na 'mama' yon.

Di pa ayaw ko tanggapin lol

happy 6 months of life dear one 🤗🤗💕 Good job on parenting! She has accomplished age-appropriate milestones and a critical factor of which is that she is given enough opportunities to explore and learn 😊 I think it's nice that you thought well about having another baby because I believe one should be financially capable to have one because in reality it's really costly.

Thanks Era! We need that good job remarks at sometimes we wonder if we are doing everything right 😂.

true to that, once another one came in - it will be another accountability on us and we are afraid that we can't cater that anymore in our current situation. Maybe if Hive become $20.00 or more why not 😂.

No worries 🤗 You are on the right track 🤗 Hahahaha that's right maybe in the right time when the budget is enough, then you'll have another blessing, your 2nd child 🤗

So true, it is really a life changing experience (well for guys like us). Seeing your children smile at you or talk to you takes all the weariness away. But the struggle is real, being a parent is the hardest job of all. You really need a lot of patience, and I mean aaaaaaaaaaaloooooooooooooooooot of it. 🤣. Lucky for you, you have a girl. A boy kid is way worse but it's fine as long as he is happy I mean look at that smile. Bloodied but still smiling, that's a boy for you 😍. It's kinda blurry coz he was so happy and was moving a lot. Not to mention very poor camera back then

Yay! 🤗
