Today , just wanna share my thoughts of the current issues and situation of the Philippine Government . This is not to criticize someone or to be on the side of anybody. This is just my general say on what is happening right now , i just really wanna express my opinion and understanding on things. I won't go into specific names. I am not so much into politics and such, but can't help but react while watching the news everyday.
For the sake of my fellow steemians outside our country, just want to inform you that there is an ongoing fight , yeah i wanna call it a fight , a debate , an argument or more to that between our president and a senator . It's like about , the government wanted to remove this amnesty thing of the senator , and of course senator also is in the urge of filing a case for him not to be in jail. Before this issue , the senator have been throwing issues about the president as well ,and is always against the president's plans and actions. So there, that's one ongoing issue. Another one is this inflation rate , all these price hike , transportation , products and everything , supply of rice and the traffic jam problem, oh gosh! There are a lot more , too many to mention. But what is it that i really wanted to say??
Alright, i'll get to the point . You see? all of you officials and politicians are where you are right now because you got what it takes to be one, and that i believe is a yes. Whenever i watch all of you on the television, i know you all have this political brilliant mind that can go together to have one awesome solution. But the reality is, we all have PRIDE . This bad Filipino pride that really is not helping . Yeah , i know we have to have it , but not to the point that you are being selfish , self centered that you just wanted to stand with what you are fighting for without thinking if it'll benefit many. You were elected to be on that position, by the nation, by your people. Why don't you guys try to sit down, agree with each other and create a solution. Don't waste your time on just fighting with each other ,and thwn what? in the end ,nothing will happen, just chaos and more trouble.
I know Filipino readers might not be able to read on this , but i just really wanna express this and burst it out. Come on! use your political minds for creating solutions. Solutions that will surely help us all, the whole country. And as for fellow countrymen, we have to do something too. Let's start within ourselves. You know what's lacking ??? DISCIPLINE . If we'll all have this in a proper way , surely there will be a lot of changes. What's the point of the government having good policies , if we would not want to sinply follow it and obey. We all can help. I know you know that.
I think i am just inlove with the fact that, our country is not a poor one . I would not agree on those statistics that we belong to third world countries. The truth is , we don't! . We got lots of resources , i just don't know why it's not being use properly and being abused. Okay, this is getting long now. I hope you guys understand my side. No, i am not angry, o don't know how to call this feeling but yeah,whatever the country is going through , i pray that it will change and that we'll all realize that if we'll have discipline , unity , less pride , helping hands , love and strong faith , we'll definitely be a stronger country that no one could ever thought we can be.

Well said @zephalexia and I hear your frustrations since most of the people feel the same about their governments and it is sad to see that most of the governments only care about their big pockets and not about their country and their people.
Most of the so called third world countries, I think are actually way better off than the first world countries and that is why I moved to a Third World country and that is why so many people are also moving to these third world countries for peace and freedom and to enjoy their life.
I wish all the best for your country and all the people.
