RE: The 'Magic' to Create Freedom or Slavery as 'Magicians' or 'Sorcerers'

in #philosophy6 years ago (edited)

Very well thought out & written post. Completely wrong in a number of minor things- but the over all gist is legit.

Many Magicians & Wizards- Do not give a FUCK about humanity or right & wrong & are only in it for their own goals.

The terms Magician, Wizard & Sorcerer- technically have to do with the LEVEL / ABILITY of the MAGIC/Skills of the individual practioner

Sort:

I use magicians with a specific meaning:

The positive is representative of what is right, good and true, the symbolic "Higher Will", the higher, realer, truer self potential (a.k.a. "Higher Self" symbolic externalized imagined belief), of using our will-power and actions based in understanding and living in the Moral Truth.

Not how others may define it as they want. It's related tot he definition of magic I provide. Good use of willpower to create positive through morality, or evil use of willpower to create negatives. One is a magician, while the other a sorcerer or warlock, as depicted in fantasy fictional works. The terms can be defined by people differently, I tried to give them this meaning here. A sorcerer etymologically is not necessarily evil, I just use that term to denote an evil intent.
