I am not even close to being able to live off Steem. So I really dont get much at all from my posts unless its the connection to others and the encouragement to grow as a person, and the encouragement of my art... well and my voice haha... but really. That is more what I get out of being here than money, I can only dream of actually living off it. So from the other end of the spectrum: I agree with you. There are other reasons to do this. And honestly I think it would tank less hard if more people nurtured the interconnections and the creativity and innovation than they tried to nurture their wallets. The money should always come as a natural side effect to those other things, or its hollow and empty.. and most importantly, more volitile.. less sustainable. The framework and foundation should be the people.

I agree entirely. It's a little disheartening that people look at crypto and think it's a bandwagon to getting rich when it's about so much more than that. Hopefully in time people will see.
