Why So Serious?

Why don't we utilize our anger enough?

Everyone experiences anger. But we suppress the emotion so effectively that we forfeit the vigour that goes with it. There are times when it’s appropriate to get angry and let the world know it. There’s also the possibility of taking the energy of indignation,
and putting it to work for positive purposes. When you feel your anger rising, choose to go and work furiously on a favourite project.

Numerous studies suggest that people positive outlook on life suffer far less illness than do those who see the world in negative terms. They also tend to have more energy.

Even serious blows in life can give you extra energy by shaking you out of your lethargy but not if you deny the blows are real. Acknowledging the negative doesn’t mean snivelling, it more or less means facing the truth and moving on. Describing what’s wrong to a friend is likely to make you feel better. Once you’ve dealt with the negative, you are free to concentrate on the best in yourself.

Totally agree, that's why my favorite quote is: "Don't take life too seriously, nobody ever makes it out alive anyway." - Van Wilder 😅

So true. Life is too short and time is running at super speed.
