Trust me, the way you assume stuff that isn’t is the problem. You have no idea what I might or might have not witnessed :) but trust me, censorship is indeed suppression, but it is usually done so, that you won’t even know that something was there in the first place.

Your examples and comparisons are meaningless because you don’t understand how the platform works.

🚩Flags are much more interesting than you seem to think. A lot of users who have been around for awhile, tend to actually check out flagged posts and comments to see why they were flagged.

In a way it is a sign of visibility.

The comparison of a flag as somebody putting fire to the earnings of a street musician doesn’t reflect the reality.

What do you know about the reward pool?
Do you know that you actually share your rewards with others?

If you look at the number of the potential payout, you will notice that the number can go up or down without a change in the number of upvotes or downvotes.

❗️If somebody suddenly gets a huge part of rewards, it is going to effect your final payout as well. You might notice drastic changes of more than 20$ suddenly disappearing from your hat, if you like that comparison.

At the same time if others disagree with that first person grabbing a huge payout for some reason and flag, to make that payout smaller, it will directly effect your payout. It is going to grow.

🚩- Flags also come with some consequences for the flagger, because their VP goes down, and they lose on curation rewards. It’s actually quite altruistic in some cases.

🚩The thing is, you should educate yourself first before making any assumptions.

🎉PS one last thing, because I don’t want to waste my time on you anymore, is: be careful of phishing and people asking you to share your password with them. You seem like a person who might do that ;) if you use Steemconnect always check if it’s really Steemconnect.

And... there is no way you can compare a centralized platform like Facebook to A decentralized Steem 😅 it’s laughable.

As an American you might not put a sign on the way to that person’s house, but your government will probably bomb the hell out of it. (Sorry it was just too easy 😋)
