I just think everybody should take a step back, even for a moment, and analyze their life from the outside and really look at it.
You used the J word! Naughty!
Good, clear communication uses not a lot of complicated words. Your message is easier to interpret if you don't ramble on (something I'm very guilty of myself).
"Just", I think is another word to be used as uh, um, etc.
In your example of the people having their store robbed:
"They broke in, and just took the money, everyone is ok"
"They broke in. They took the money. Everyone is ok."
They mean the same the thing.
But instead, if I were in the position of telling that story.
They broke in, took my money. Everyone is ok.
But, there's probably more to the story. Was there violence / trauma involved? Was a door broken, a lock need replacing, extra security measures to be considered. Insurance.
They didn't just take the money, I'd instead maybe say...
"They took my earnings from me when they broke in. I'm okay, but I'm not whole."
Heyy, I am very guilty of rambling on lol but its also the way I speak irl, I try to keep the posts real and with not that much filler material. Thanks for the comment.
