RE: Cuts Both Ways

The goal isn't to stop judging - it is to judge better. To become more accurate, and more granular, like a scientist who is able to test hypotheses

It seems somewhere judging got all these negative associations, perhaps even some of the ‘spiritual’ ‘toxic positivity’ type stuff… while in condemning (or ‘judging’) it as something “bad,” the brain/mind dumbs down and blinds itself to nuance - such as that of, which while may still fit in the “judgement” label could be considered, discernment.

Like, no subjective ego games of ‘better/worse,’ ‘superior/inferior’ where it comes from any moral high-horse, but more objectivity.

That’s sorta how i’ve thought about the matter anyways, at times - “to judge better,” as you put it, really more coming from and embodying that kind of objective discernment.
