I stopped and read it twice, although you had me at the explanation of the moral compass. It's easier to want to be right than wrong, but I feel that you were tugging more at the idea that it doesn't matter, everyone is right and wrong.
To be able to contrast and differentiate our surroundings, emotions in this way leaves me whimsically optimistic. Everytime I would find myself seeping into pockets of despair, I could understand that a nirvana polar opposite must also exist somewhere.
